Who is Shayla?

Shayla M. Rose is an Intuitive Latinx Healer raised in New York City from Caribbean, Puerto Rican and Central American decent. She’s a Nuyorican at heart. Shayla is a first-generation bilingual practitioner.

During her youth, she would travel with her mother to Puerto Rico and met all kinds of Espiritistas (spiritualists). Upon her return to NYC, she would feel magic linger around transforming her ideas and paving a path as a magical practitioner.

Shayla has years of experience integrating the metaphysical with wellness as a consulting astrologer, and tarot reader providing a continuation of wellness through energy healing and hypnosis. Shayla deeply enjoys community events, candle making, and teaching

In 2014, Shayla graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Human Development. Today Shayla is pursuing advanced studies. Furthermore, she integrates her knowledge of sociology, psychology and the whole person in her practice

I wondered…

My purpose is to be a catalyst of change in my community by guiding people and the collective toward healing through different avenues.

My mission is to inspire and empower clients into their greatest selves and into a state of balance. I serve the communities of Chinatown NYC, the Village, and Eastern Brooklyn. My work is centered on merging the metaphysical with wellness. My offerings are divided into Metaphysical (Astrology, Tarot) and Wellness (Hypnosis, Reiki, and Pelvic Steaming).

In the Mystical Intelligence Blog, I share all a little of everything from, astrology, tarot, crystals, and more. 

In 2020, I launched my first hypnotic-guided meditation, Ancestral Meditation to Connect. My goal is to take listeners on a spiritual journey to connect with ancestors for powerful healing. *Meditations are curated for clients for the continuation of healing
